This is the most important conversation I’ve ever had on my podcast. it’s a conversation I’ve been so looking forward to, but I also felt nervous, uncomfortable, anxious and afraid. And you may feel all of those things as you listen to this episode today as well.
What I’m going to invite you to do right now is to not turn it off, not leave the room. I want you to lean into the discomfort, because I truly believe that where there’s discomfort, there is growth and I think this conversation is a huge catalyst for my own growth.
The reason I find it so important to share this is because I have a platform to create a community, a culture that is inclusive and that shares diversity and that shares diverse opinions, belief systems and representations.
There’s no one better than Jessie Nelson to discuss this topic with me. Jessie is an inclusion consultant and they work with businesses on being more representative of our whole society and not just the pieces that we are used to seeing. Whether you have an offline business and online business, you’re a marketer, you work in a business or you’re just a human being.
